Alcoholic Beverages
We do not serve or sell alcoholic beverages.
Alcoholic beverages welcome in moderate amounts as this is not the place to be unsteady on your feet. Rainbow Hearth is built on and around the Hill Country terrain and can be challenging to navigate for those that are impaired or have limited mobility.
Appliances
Our rooms do NOT include a refrigerator, microwave, or coffee maker. While not mandatory you are invited to join us for prepared meals in our dining room. Guests that opt for this added service are also offered free snacks and use of our refrigerator during their stay. For more information on our Meals and Snacks, please click the link for details.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made at least 7 days prior to arrival date will receive a full refund, minus a $35 processing fee.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before arrival, will forfeit the entire deposit.
Check-In and Check-Out
Check-In is 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Earlier and later check-in must be requested and prearranged. Accommodations will be granted as able, but not guaranteed.
Check-Out is 11 am.
Clocks
There are no clocks in the room accommodations. As part of the full digital detox experience, you are encouraged to forget about time and fully enjoy the nature experience we provide.

Cooking Supplies
There are no cooking supplies in any of the rooms. You are welcome to purchase our meals which are prepared for you and served in our dining room. We need at least 2 days advance notice if you would like to purchase meals during your stay. Learn more about meals and snacks by clicking the link.
Gate
The gate near River Cruse is closed from 9pm to 7am. If locked, use gate the gate code for access.

Internet
All guests are welcome to use the free wireless internet signal at the main lodge of Rainbow Hearth.
The Blue Heron and Sky Loft typically are able to get a signal in their suite. However, Sunset Guest House and Yurt Tree House guests may have to bring their devices to the main lodge to be in range of the router.
Massage
Massages are an added amenity that are available during your stay. Our Massage Therapist, Mariah Wentworth, has over 50 years of training and experience in massage and energy work. Repeat guests often come back specifically for the massages at Rainbow Hearth. It is important to note that the massage schedule books quickly. Schedule your massage at the time of booking as to ensure there is an available time for your massage! You MUST contact us to schedule your massage and receive a confirmation of the appointment. Payment Accepted
We accept cash, checks and Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards, for payment.
Pets
Pets are welcome. We expect pets to be quiet, well-behaved and to be on a leash. $13/day/pet. Owners are liable for any damage!
Pets must be on a leash while on the main grounds. This is for the safety and enjoyment of all guests, human and animal.
Pets that are trained by vocal command may be off leash once away from the main lodging area or along Lake Buchanan. However, it is important to note that many wild animals roam the acreage at Rainbow Hearth. This may cause some animals to give chase and get lost. Keep this in mind when deciding if your pet is safe to be off leash.
Pet owners must pick up after their pets waste. There is no exception to this rule. If you forget baggies to clean up after them, please ask us and we will provide you with bags to clean up and dispose of waste.
Pets are not allowed in the dining area. Not everyone loves animals and some people are allergic to them. So the dining area is off limits to pets to ensure that all guests have an enjoyable dining experience. You may leave your pet in your suite while dining, or you can eat on the outdoor picnic tables with your pet.
Rainbow Hearth Sanctuary & Resort is not responsible for any injury or illness your pet may experience. You are solely responsible for their well being. You are solely responsible for any damage or injury they may cause.
Reservations

Smoking
NO SMOKING INSIDE EVER!
Violations will result in a $500 cleaning fee. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule.
This is a NO SMOKING facility with a couple of exceptions. Decks on Sunset Guest House & Tree House Yurt allow people to smoke without violating air space for others. The Blue Heron and Sky Loft Suites do not allow smoking. Additionally, there is no smoking allowed out on the land due to extreme fire danger.

- This is particularly important as there is an extreme fire danger in the Hill Country.
Spa Room
The Spa Room and Hot Tub are available to all guests at no extra charge. Guests are welcome to lock the door and use the “Do Not Disturb” sign for privacy. However, please limit your time so all guests may enjoy this free amenity. Abuse of this feature may result in restrictions for violators.
TVs
There are no TVs at Rainbow Hearth Sanctuary & Retreat. This is a place to connect with nature and allow yourselves a digital detox.
